Ceramic Japan is a leading ceramics brand, and needed a series of tabloids for the annual exhibition in Tokyo. Through the event, they targeted potential partners who were interested in retailing their products or OEM opportunities.
One of the main challenges was how to create something that would be true to the brand, which captures its feeling of quiet beauty and sophistication, but still resonate with a business-focused audience.
In terms of photography, I chose to treat each dish as a piece of art that described its craftsmanship, rather than presenting it as a product. For the whole design, I incorporated a clear and structured design to make it readable for the target users. To support conversion, I put a QR code that directs to the contact form near the business information, so that the audience can easily take the next step.
