Learn From the Past, Accelerate Future Innovations

Avaxia Group, based in Dubai, is one of the fastest-growing tech firms. They were planning to expand their presence globally. Revitalising the corporate identity was a vital step in enhancing global brand recognition, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and uniting the group. I was responsible for developing the brand’s visual identity and leading the execution of its aesthetic under the supervision of the Senior Designer.

First, I interviewed them about their history since founding the company, the origin of the name Avaxia, and their future goals. Through interviews with them, I learned about their passion for innovation through cutting-edge technologies such as AI and AR/VR.

One of the toughest challenges I faced was crafting a fresh visual identity for new audiences while still offering a sense of familiarity for existing stakeholders. Through ideation and multiple explorations, I preserved the original logo’s colour and overall impression, particularly by retaining the single-storey “a” shape for consistency. An orange “x” symbolised their speed, energy, and passion for innovation.

This approach enabled Avaxia to move forward into the next chapter while preserving existing partnerships.

In my draft, I developed a variety of logo concepts by experimenting with shapes, colours, and typography, then pitched the strongest options to the client.
